Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Reporting Manager to lead our financial reporting and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing SEC reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth.
Responsibilities:
Manage the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, and Form 8-K, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines.
Coordinate with internal teams, external auditors, and legal counsel to facilitate the review and approval process for financial disclosures.
Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A analysis in accordance with GAAP and SEC guidelines.
Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and implement necessary updates to financial reporting processes and controls.
Oversee the documentation and implementation of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards (ASC 606, ASC 842, etc.).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, with at least 2 years of experience in SEC reporting.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
Experience working in public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) preferred.
Proficiency in financial reporting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with Workiva or similar SEC filing software is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
