The TE - Nx 10 On-Call Events & Administrative Assistant will help support the execution of the TE - Nx 10 Collaboration. The TE - Nx 10 Events & Administrative Assistant will work closely with the TE - Nx 10 Director of Operations to provide operational and administrative support. This includes, but is not limited to, providing administrative, organizational, and event support. This role is on-call and will only be utilized on an as-needed basis, working up to 29 hours per week. This position is available for remote work within the United States. Essential Functions
Operations & Administrative Support Event development and support. Data entry and overseeing record-keeping databases. Customer service, including responding to inquiries about TE - Nx 10 Assist with reclassifying credit card statements, submitting check requests, preparing deposits and reimbursements, and processing other financial paperwork including contracts. Occasional logistical support including running various errands, coordinating Zoom meetings, note-taking and other relevant preparation for team meetings. Events Support Working closely with the Director of Operations as needed by tracking event registration, sending invitations, and record-keeping. Assist with the preparation of conference materials and printing, catering, venue set up and clean up, and other hospitality-related tasks as needed. Attend and/or travel to regional, national, and virtual gatherings and/or training events in order to logistically support them, up to multiple times per year where assigned. Knowledge and Skills Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Two to three years of administrative and/or project experience. Works well in a multicultural environment with focus on diversity, equity and inclusion. Able to work with a diverse remote team and interact with team members via digital task management systems and virtual meeting environments. Flexible schedule. Proven ability to provide superb customer service. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills, with competence in Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, and high Internet proficiency. Experience with and understanding of project management and email marketing software such as Monday.com and Mailchimp preferred. Broad computer and Internet knowledge and skills required. Works well under pressure and can manage pressing requests and situations. Able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while paying attention to deadlines, accuracy, and details. Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
