General Summary:
The Associate, Commercial Fleet Credit is required to operate as a self-contained unit within the Mobility Department. The associate will perform and coordinate comprehensive credit, collateral, and economic reviews of all commercial fleet financing proposals and exercise decision-making responsibility for coordinating the proper documentation of transactions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Prepares underwriting files sent to various levels of management for review using documentation including but not limited to financial statements and projections originating from dealers, related OEMs, or directly from customers.
2. Manages CVF fleet and Mobility customers relationships through direct interaction with customers, dealers, or related OEMs. This includes communication of decisions, loan terms and related contingencies, collection of time bound reporting requirements, and completion of annual reviews/renewals within a timely manner.
3. Supports the evaluation commercial vehicle loan applications using commercial and/or consumer credit bureaus, financial and/or bank statements, and other forms of analysis as needed to determine credit worthiness.
4. Supports the CVF funding team’s workflow process by assisting dealers with contract issues as well as contacting dealers regarding missing loan documentation.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Understanding of factors that impact business profitability and financial ratios.
· Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Office products
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
