The Technology Integration Coordinator drives teams to introduce our products into Industrial Segment Operations facilities. This work includes aligning to the best manufacturing processes that exist around the globe and providing the structure and leadership to move to new advanced manufacturing techniques and digitization. Reporting directly to the Global Director of Technology Manufacturing Integration you will manage the introduction of multiple technology families for identified site(s)/projects. To accomplish these transfers requires the ability to maintain strict project schedules, establishing a routine rhythm of driving accountability across the team, and prompt action to challenges. You will work a hybrid work model and need live in close distance to a PPG Manufacturing facility in the Southeastern Region of the United States.
Key Responsibilities
Develop product, equipment, and process data to support project planning/scheduling and to promote cross discipline work.
Lead teams to develop strategies to transition from legacy manufacturing processes to new ones.
Lead the planning new equipment commissioning plans.
Partner with Commercial and Technical Leaders to develop manufacturing schedules for product flowing through new processes.
Develop content and present on progress to executive leadership.
Develop PPG/Customer cooperation through communications and presentations to major customers.
Identify novel approaches to exceed timelines and customer requirements.
Qualifications
Project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving multiple disciplines.
Experience in automotive or industrial product formulation, technology, and manufacturing processes.
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or engineering
Three (3) or more years of direct experience in coatings.
Previous experience working across regions and managing project teams
You must be fluent in English. Fluency in German or Italian would also be a benefit to this position.
This position is based in the United States. Travel is expected and during its peak may reach up to 75% of the time.
