Position Summary:
Responsible for supervising the warehousing and shipping of incoming and outgoing materials
People or Process Management Responsibility:Warehouse personnel
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members
Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse
Schedule warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facility
Allocate necessary space for stock rotation
Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control
Oversee shipping and receiving functions as applicable
Secure company assets
Manage within labor and OPEX budget
Manage warehouse space capacity and interface with outside warehouses, planning, and transportation as required
Experienced in WMS/RF systems, preferably SAP
Knowledge of forklifts and associated maintenance
Required Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 2-4 years of related supervisory experience
Previous experience working in a warehouse, transportation, purchasing, customer service, sales or similar supply chain department
Requires experience managing people/budgets
Computer and database application skills
Familiarity with inventory management systems
Ability to operate a manual / powered pallet jack or lift product
Forklift certification is required within first 6 months of hire date
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Forklift certification
