Position Overview:
The Infrastructure Team Lead will oversee a team dedicated to providing technology solutions and planning of CrossCountry Mortgage’s critical systems infrastructure. This role will provide new technical solutions across the full range of services provided by Infrastructure and Systems while ensuring that all escalated technical issues are addressed and resolved by the team.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the maintenance of on-premises and Azure Active Directory domain and requisite server infrastructure.
Manage AWS and Azure infrastructure to include cloud platform networking, cloud security best practices, and various other services (load balancing, data storage, IAM).
Install and manage firewalls/switches across a WAN/LAN environment.
Support a unified voice and telephony infrastructure.
Monitor and react to events surfaced by the monitoring systems and resolve issues associated with performance, availability, and user experience.
Act as a point of escalation for the other members of the infrastructure team as well as the overall business.
Interface with vendors and suppliers and evaluate the operability of new technologies in the environment.
Assist with the creation and execution of network security standards.
Author technical documentation and playbooks to capture company process and to document production systems.
Act as the lead engineer on maintenance events and ensure collaboration and communication with the infrastructure team as well as other teams impacted by maintenance events.
Ensure that maintenance events are conducted according to defined objectives and scopes and that appropriate situational awareness is maintained.
System administration (Linux/Unix or Windows) at the command-line level to maintain the operational systems.
Support Data Pipeline and .NET development workflow from an infrastructure perspective.
Maintain accurate change control documentation in line with team standards using the review process.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems (or related field) or requisite combination of education/experience.
7+ years’ experience in Infrastructure Engineering/Support.
3+ years’ experience in Senior or Leadership role within IT Infrastructure.
5+ years’ experience with Cloud-based Infrastructure.
Proficient in network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components, and principles (e.g., application of defense-in-depth).
Experience building solutions and designing architecture, provisioning infrastructure, and deploying secure and reliable data-centric services and applications.
Experience in developing risk management systems.
Experience with infrastructure as code.
Excellent customer service, leadership, organizational, communication and interface skills.
Pay Range:
$110,000 - $140,000
