Job Abstract

The Release Train Engineer is responsible for facilitating and coaching the Agile Release Trains. They coordinate Agile Release Train events, which includes PI Planning, System Demo, Scrum of Scrums, PI Inspect & Adapt and PO Sync. They are a servant leader and coach to their value stream and stakeholders. They Act as the next level escalation for obstacles reported by Development Teams and strive to empower teams to remove impediments. Works with the Program Team to resolve or escalate risks and issues and ensures collaboration in cross-train Scrum of Scrums. This role manages a continuous workflow of their teams. They advocate, adopt and coach their teams on lean, agile and scrum practices following scaled agile principles. Delivers results through performance/process metrics and business value metrics. Individual contributor and mentor to teams of various agile maturity.
