Job Abstract

Primary Responsibilities:

• Key member in Customer Focus Team with a focus on material procurement and on time delivery to our customers.
• Represent material group in customer meetings
• Create and Develop relationship with franchised distributors
• Maintain a good KPI in all aspects of purchasing

• Quote material with supply chain
• Request RMA's from suppliers
• Expedite PO's
• Monitor supplier delivery dates
• Resolve PO with issues in receiving department
• Attend meetings with PM's and Planning on material status
• Attend meetings with suppliers to revolve issues
• Manage OTD from suppliers

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Experience in electric component industry or contract manufacturing preferable.
• 3 - 5 years as a buyer is preferred
• Experience in Epicor ERP is preferred.
• Technical knowledge of electronic components such as semiconductors, connectors, capacitors, resistors, etc.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be US citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR Requirement)

Schedule: M-F 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
