Job Description
The NBCU Ad Sales Data, Management and Insights (DM&I) team is responsible for first party data enablement, measurement and insights products and solutions for advertisers, agencies and partners. DM&I is currently evolving its core products and partnerships in order to support client, category and strategic solutions related to data, measurement, and insights that drive impact for both NBCU and customers.
The Vice President, Solutions Ad Sales DM&I will be a key constituent of the DM&I Solutions leadership team and be a primary point of contact, resource, and leader for engagements with clients, agencies and other partners. This role is responsible for acting both as a single point of expertise with deep knowledge of the data, measurement, and insights ecosystem of both the NBCU DM&I team and partner teams and also as a point of escalation across the Ad Sales organization for the DM&I team broadly. In addition to providing this expertise and connection, this role is also responsible for identifying, advocating, and guiding DM&I solutions for our partners. Outstanding candidates will demonstrate a past track record of success in driving solution success and past growth in their career as a sales engineer, customer success leader, or client partner.
Duties and Responsibilities

Owning, maintaining and strengthening relationships with key internal Ad Sales stakeholders across Agency Partnerships and Client
Supporting market-facing engagements with our clients and agency partners to clearly articulate NBCUnified’s capabilities and differentiators as well as to define joint integrations/solutions when required.
Act as the bridge to supporting internal advertising sales and partnership team education and training of the Solutions’ Team capabilities and responsibilities.
Owning and evangelizing DM&I Solutions and new opportunities with advertiser, agency and partner stakeholders including beta testing opportunities, new partnership opportunities, or joint capability development.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in developing strategic plans and roadmaps for media company, advertising agency advanced adverting or data-driven businesses (audience based, data driven, analytics driven, etc.)
Subject matter expert with knowledge of the data, measurement and insights ecosystem connected to NBCUniversal including key players, technologies and applications
General knowledge of the marketing and advertising ecosystem across multiple forms of media and different client vertical industry categories
Desired Characteristics:
Outstanding strategy skills; a well-developed understanding of consumer behaviors and usage patterns; knows how to move quickly and seize opportunities in a rapidly changing media landscape
Strong pre-disposition and passion for supporting business development and product marketing efforts
Strong organization skills and a record of success in providing strategic planning and support across multiple disciplines
Ability to influence and partner with stakeholders to drive results in a matrixed organization internally and externally
A clear thinker with external focus and excellent communication and relationship building skills; ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple manner
Demonstrated ability to create, articulate, and defend business plans to multiple stakeholders
Strong ability to work independently
Agile leader who thrives in transformation or innovation-focused roles
Bachelor’s degree preferred, Master’s Degree a plus
