Advisory is seeking candidates for the following position based in our Western Zone which includes our Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, Phoenix, Denver, or Salt Lake City offices:
Claims Advocacy Consultant (Property/Risk experience)
What can you expect?
?Provides coverage and claims strategy advice to clients on claims with complex coverage issues that require full range of expertise to solve in order to assist with claims preparation.
Identifies appropriate policies and/or coverages on complex coverage issues and analyses notification against the same in order to provide solutions to clients against future risks.
Leads complex claims process for clients, leads detailed client claim review meetings and participates in claims strategy discussions in order to ensure progress from notification through to closure.
Liaises with insurers and their advisors on complex queries and policy coverage discussions to support smooth review of claims for clients.
Develops thought leadership materials and drafts communication documents for clients, such as correspondence letters, claims calculations and reviews documents prepared by the clients in order to support complex claims process for clients.
Assess application of data, such as loss statistics, key trends, cost reduction opportunities and other data to support sound and defensible recommendations for action plans to manage client's total cost of risk.

We will count on you to:
Build and maintain a positive and supportive team environment within the claims team.
Ensure team performance meets quality & timeliness thresholds stipulated by client agreements, internal guidelines & regulatory authorities.
Monitor service deliverables ensuring tasks completed within criteria agreed in client service agreements, internal and regulatory guidelines.
Identify emerging risks, assess, register, and escalate to senior management where appropriate.
Provide claims expertise/guidance to internal and external stakeholders for all technical and procedural inquiries.
Implement continuous improvement strategies / processes / tools / systems to enhance efficiency for colleagues, agents, policyholders, and Customer.
Serve as a key leader and interface for the customer.

Experience working for an insurance broker as a claims advocate, independent property claim adjuster or carrier adjuster.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $91,800 to $195,800.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
