As a Hospital Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of veterinarians, technical, and service-based associates. You will direct the implementation of a new and innovative veterinary experience. To be successful in this role you will need to embrace the vision, adopt new ways of working, bring a positive attitude, and commit to the execution of the urgent care model.
What You’ll Do
- Lead on-site hospital opening efforts
- Hire, train, engage, and retain top-performing associates
- Deliver on hospital operational performance, including but not limited to financials, people metrics, and client experience standards
- Build a high-volume urgent care business
- Deliver value to clients by creating an efficient and caring environment
- Deliver value to associates by creating an operational environment with high psychological safety, trust, and inclusion as cultural tenants
- Lead all associates with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude with a passion for the mission
- Hold all hospital associates accountable for performance standards and respectful communication conduct
- Ensure our Associate Experience (ex. every associate can contribute at the highest level of their skillset, DVMs take their lunch break, associates go home on time and with records done for DVMs) is executed upon daily
- Raise awareness and promote a collaborative relationship with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of veterinary hospital, medical, dental, or equivalent education and experience
- 3.5+ years of supervisory, management or equivalent education and experience
- Demonstrated experience driving organizational change
- Action-oriented, independent, self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple and time-sensitive priorities simultaneously with a keen eye for inefficiencies
- Willingness and ability to grow the business through various marketing and business development methods
- Ability to establish credibility, trust, and respect with veterinarians and other medical professionals
- Proven leadership skills including accountability, follow-through, and clear communication
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
Schedule
The hospital is open 7 days per week, 10 am – 8 pm. This position is a 5-day a week, in-hospital position requiring one Saturday or Sunday shift worked each week and some holiday coverage.

Salary
The annual salary range for this position is $70,000 – 85,000 per year. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. This position is also eligible for a quarterly bonus program.
