Job Summary

The primary role of the Arts Instructors is to provide students with an unparalleled nurturing, fun, and dynamic arts educational experience in the disciplines of Dance, Media Arts, Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts. The Arts Instructors in collaboration with Arts Coordinator and Director of Arts, help to develop innovative lesson plans featuring a universal design for learning lens (UDL) with Social Emotional Learning (SEL) touchpoints. Arts Instructors act as a positive adult role model, coach, and mentor. Arts Instructors must have a genuine interest in the growth, development, and provision of a safe and nurturing environment for the students they teach. Ensuring that Think Together students reach their potential takes a tremendous amount of hard work, flexibility, and commitment.

Requirements / Qualifications

• BA candidates with 2+ years of training, who are currently pursuing a degree in one of the following 5 arts disciplines (Dance, Music, and Visual Arts) OR • Candidates that have 2+ years of practical/professional experience in the area of arts concentration • 1+ years of facilitating arts educational experience in grades K-6 highly preferred • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
