Responsibilities:
Coordinate the development of sales objectives, strategies and ensures execution for Municipal Water vertical.
Serve as a subject matter expert on vertical market, products & services offering and value proposition.
Ability to conduct in-depth research on vertical market and customers and prepare for conversations through knowledge of their buying habits and/or previous purchase history.
Ability to be a high performer in a fast-paced matrixed organization.
Act as a vertical market liaison between sales, national accounts, and other departments.
Work closely with region sales, national accounts and strategic vendors to map out opportunities and develop strategies to take share in the Municipal Water vertical.
Ability to influence region sales to drive vertical strategy in each geographic region.
Partner with region sales teams to develop strategic account plans with targeted accounts in this vertical.
Strong ability to manage resources to assist in moving strategy forward utilizing company approved sales and marketing techniques and tools.
Expand our existing customer base and create new customers by selling the Harrington value proposition through our sales management process.
Understand, sell, and market the use of the eCommerce platform with customers.
Adhere to KPI metrics regarding market share data, customer growth and product & service expansion.
Prepare, generate and maintain itineraries, call and activity reports, account information, project opportunities and details in Harringtons CRM system.
5 years of Outside Sales (or equivalent) experience.
Outgoing personality with the ability to win customers.
Experience with Spreadsheet software, Inventory Software, and ERP system like VAI and or Prelude. Blueprint reading a plus, but not necessary.
