Overview The Project Coordinator is responsible for creating and implementing change management strategies, processes, and plans that maximize ROI, employee adoption, and minimize resistance to change. They will focus on how changes to business systems or the implementation of a new technology impacts the organization. The project delivery team is responsible for full life-cycle project management across the credit union. They are responsible for planning the activities, controlling time management, managing deliverables, monitoring progress, closing projects and creating and implementing change management strategies, processes and plans under the direction of a Project Manager. Responsibilities Serve as the administrator for our Project Management Tool Support the Project Delivery Office by coordinating and attending project/vendor meetings and assisting with determination of project requirements Assist the Project Delivery Office in establishing the project management plan, maintain calendar of milestones, and project schedules/timelines Monitor and review progress of the project management plan and schedule Coordinate project planning and implementation Prepare project organization and communication plans Assist the PM in the development and tracking of project budgets Assist PM in recording; and distributes meeting minutes for each project to the PM and appropriate project team members Document the progress and quality of the work being performed Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor project plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures Responsible for documenting change management for each project and assisting the PM in making necessary adjustments to the project schedule Support Project Managers in completing After Action Review for completed projects Perform necessary research, analyze information and provide documentation to the PM Assist the PM in task assigning and priority setting for project workload Verify and analyze the accuracy of all data and information used or generated by project; resolve any discrepancies or problems and keep the PM and others informed about project status and issues that may impact internal and external stakeholders Communicate ideas for improving NWFCU’s processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others Lead change requests and small projects for support and development purposes Performs other related duties as assigned Remains cognizant of and adheres to NWFCU policies and procedures as well as regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years experience supporting Project Managers in the delivery of implementation projects Effective oral and written communication skills Ability to review and analyze or interpret data and documentation and to make decisions regarding subsequent actions Ability to use standard office equipment and systems Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products Ability to manage resources and budgets Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization Ability to build strong relationships and networks Accuracy and detail-orientation Ability to work effectively on-site in our Herndon, VA headquarters and equally effectively remotely Ability to work Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm Preferred Associates Degree Experience in MS Project EEO Notice Northwest Federal Credit Union is an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, disability, protected veteran status or any other classification protected by law.
