Job Abstract

Summary of Duties: Responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of application software and supporting mission critical business applications within the TAG IT merchandise accounting systems group. Participation in the complete system development life cycle, including post implementation support. Provide technical consulting to management, business users, and work closely with other developers as a mentor. Perform analysis of business models, logical specifications, and customer requirements to design and build Internet solutions utilizing multiple technologies. Maintain and modify web applications, making approved changes by amending application documentation, developing detailed programming logic, and coding changes. Perform application server maintenance tasks including software/hardware upgrades, patching, security configuration, batch process maintenance and migration to new platforms. Responsible for mentoring and coaching developers and/or Professional Apprentices as well as training and dissemination of knowledge with the development teams. Actively participate in hiring activities and fulfilling affirmative action obligations to ensure compliance with the equal employment opportunity policy.
