Position Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist assists with day-to-day operations and employee relations issues and serves as backup to the Senior HR Business Partner. This position helps strategize the needs of the department, recruitment, and retention. Handles and processes all personnel/payroll changes and records. Manages the day-to-day functions of HR which include benefits, employee questions, wellness and Rewards and Recognition committee. Receives and screens calls, walk-ins and refers them to appropriate personnel. Generates all new hire paperwork, Pre-employment background screening, pre-employment physicals, and maintains employee personnel files. Answers Human Resource related questions regarding policy, procedures, benefits, and record information. Reports to the Chief HR Officer.

Salary Range:
Annual Rate Minimum $60,677.28 Midpoint $75,021.84 Maximum $94,085.28
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum Experience: 3 years’ experience in HR; healthcare preferred. Preferred: Certification in HR preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
