IDS is seeking a Primary Instructor/Site Lead to lead a Technical Assistance Field Team (TAFT) that will provide in-country training, technical support, and advice for HIMARS Systems in Orzysz, Poland. The Primary Instructor/Site Lead will be responsible for the management and execution of contract requirements, and must be able to direct trainers and effectively interface with the client.
Responsibilities:
Serves as primary in-country point of contact, lead instructor, and supervisor for TAFT.
Acts as liaison between all stakeholders.
Responsible for the instruction of specific lesson(s) of the Program.
Assures that students obtain proficiency in each module of instruction before they proceed to the next area of instruction.
Responsible for the design, development, administration, and grading of all written and practical examinations.
Responsible for assuring that course goals and objectives are met IAW the PWS.
Provides instructors and students with counsel, mentoring, and assessment of their academic performance as required.
Required Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance
5+ years of experience in managing programs, training, and oversight for projects of a similar size and scope.
Previously completed a successful HIMARS Battery experience, with additional operational experience in the field environment.
Experience as one or more of the following: HIMARS Tactical Control Officer or Tactical Control Assistant; HIMARS Tactical Director or Tactical Director Assistant; HIMARS Battery Trainer; and/or BN Standardizations.
Serve as an PAF-HIMARS Instructor Trainer on the employment, operation, and maintenance of the Poland HIMARS system.
Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
