About being our Social Media Strategist
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing social media strategies and campaigns that align with organizational objectives to drive results. This part-time temporary role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in-office and remotely. The expected range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hour depending on experience and benefits are not included.
Responsibility Highlights for our Social Media Strategist
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followers across Psomas' LinkedIn and Instagram platforms.
- Create and curate engaging, on-brand content, including text posts, images, and videos that are tailored to each platform's audience and best practices.
- Capture images and video content for use on social media and across additional corporate channels including website, intranet, and presentations.
- Coordinate and support Psomas social media accounts with Comms team, including scheduling and publishing posts, monitoring comments and messages, and responding to inquiries promptly.
- Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications and recommend strategies for optimization and growth.
- Analyze social media performance using analytics tools such as Sprout and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team to align social media efforts with overall goals.
- Stay up-to-date and educate the internal team on best practices and emerging trends in social media marketing.
Minimum Qualifications to be our Social Media Strategist
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Portfolio of work examples highlighting both strategy development and execution.
- Extensive knowledge of social media platforms, including their algorithms and best practices.
