CACI is seeking a Business Development Research Assistant and Data Analyst that is analytical and detail oriented.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- The Research Assistant’s responsibilities encompass researching, collecting, analyzing, and reporting on our strategic opportunities and pursuits.
- You will work closely with our Business Development and Executive Management Team to perform various research tasks to better understand our market and competitors.
- You will research market trends to identify business patterns.
- The successful candidate will also support the development of opportunity pipelines and perform other research tasks as assigned.
- The individual may also be asked support the input and reporting of information from our customer relationship management (CRM) system and help ensure the integrity and accuracy of our data.
- Use various commercial databases such as GovWin, DACIS, and FPDS to research and build pipelines of future opportunities and create competitor profiles
- Support data quality efforts to keep the data in CACI’s CRM system current and free of errors.
- Apply analytic to market research findings.
- Assist in creating presentations with charts and graphs to present to management and senior leadership.
- Organize and store data for future research projects.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

- Experienced in data analytics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Expert in all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams especially)
- Candidate for or bachelor’s degree with courses in business, communications, mathematics, economics, computer science or other related coursework.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Understanding of or interest in Federal business development lifecycle and pipeline management/development
- Experience working with GovWin, DACIS, FPDS, and other sources of federal contracts and contractor information
- Experience working with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Request for Proposal (RFP), and Request for Information (RFI).
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required
- Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional, community, extracurricular)
