University Advancement’s Gift Services & Data Integrity department is seeking a Central Advancement Gifts Specialist to join its team. The Gift Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of contributions received by the University of Southern California. Essential for individuals to be successful in this role is a thorough knowledge of the University Advancement's information system or an equivalent system at another institution of higher education.
This is a hybrid position under our current work arrangement plan, with the expectation of on-site presence in our downtown Los Angeles office (USC Tower).
Responsibilities:
Organize and prepare financial and demographic information for efficient and accurate entry into Central Advancement information system.
Identify gift and donor information required for complete data entry.
Balance dollar amounts to be transmitted to Restricted Fund Accounting.
Process gifts receipts and acknowledgments, review and correct information as required.
Maintain a secure environment of storing financial documents and a strict confidentially of donor information.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school or equivalent
1 year general office experience, including 6 months data entry experience
Attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

The budgeted hourly rate range for this position is $22.26 – $26.00.
