Job Summary
Under the supervision of school administrators, the Designated Instruction and Services (DIS) Counselor is responsible for providing targeted counseling and support services to students with special education needs. The role involves working with students who have Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), addressing their social-emotional, behavioral, and academic needs. This role requires a scpecialized understanding of special education processes, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach to supporting students with diverse challenges.
