The Community Services Division has two opportunities available, which are classified as at-will, hourly/part-time positions eligible for Worker's Compensation and sick leave only. Hourly/part-time positions are limited to an average of 20 hours per week.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS TO APPLY
Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills, and abilities would be:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Possess one (1) year of related experience.
License or Certificates
Must possess and maintain a valid California Class "C" driver's license and have a good driving record.
In addition, the successful candidate will possess the following skills:
Familiarity with common tools and equipment used in custodial work.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, as well as, read and write basic English.
Lift objects up to 50 lbs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Move and set up band equipment for concerts.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work hours vary by assignment and may be assigned to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; exposure to heat, noise, outdoors, confining work space, chemicals, explosive materials, mechanical hazards, and electrical hazards; ability to travel to different sites and locations; must be available to work varied work hours, weekends and holidays.
