The Quality Management Nurse Manager will oversees quality, infection control, risk management and patient safety / relations. The Nursing Manager of Quality Management will be responsible for the development of an integrated approach to quality across the organization. The Quality and Performance Improvement Nurse Manager will collaborate closely with the Chief Nursing Officer in developing strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement, process, and activities.

The Nurse Manager of Quality Management will be supported by 4 skillful and tenured staff members. The Quality Improvement Manager will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer. The Manager of Quality Performance Improvement will collaborate with all Nursing Managers and Ancillary Managers to develop programs in order to improve quality, performance, and overall core measures.

The ideal candidates for Manager of Quality Management and Patient Safety should have CPHQ and/or CPPS certifications and can come from Registered Nurse of California, MD- Medical Doctor, PharmD- Pharmacist, PA- Physician Assistant or NP-Nurse Practitioner background. The Manager of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety will need to have acute care hospital quality management experience.
