The Senior Business Development Manager plays a key role in identifying and delivering Federal and Intel new business opportunities for T-Mobile Secure Federal Operations (SFO).
Job Responsibilities:
Structure and drive strategic partnerships and new business relationships including development of key economic, business, and operational terms; negotiate and complete contracts with these partnerships; and manage their evolution
Scout, identify and/or create new business opportunities and partnerships: a) identify and analyze sophisticated market/business opportunities, b) evaluate key players and technologies, c) assess customer and market opportunities, d) develop differentiated product/service strategies, e) create potential economic/financial/business models, f) make T-Mobile recommendations, and g) develop business relationships to create new strategic partners.
Handle senior-level relationships with internal customers and with key players in the mobile industry – both in established and emerging segments and ecosystems.
Develop deep domain expertise in sectors vital to T-Mobile’s core strategy.
Provide strategic analysis and guidance (economic/financial, customer and market opportunities, key players and technologies, potential business models, T-Mobile fit, etc.) for a multitude of sectors and domains.
Formulate recommendations and lead reviews of new opportunities, technologies, business models etc., to cross-functional teams
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong negotiation skills incorporating overall business objectives in developing strategy and decisions
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information to key stakeholders
Strong collaboration skills with proven ability to build trust through cross-functional relationships across an organization to achieve common goals
Excellent judgment, discretion with critical information, mature personality, and experience working and communicating with executives
Confident and experienced in Financial Analysis and demonstrated financial competence
Executive maturity and ability to lead at all levels
Highly motivated and self-directed, thrives while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, results driven environment
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field; Advance degree preferred
Business development, alliance management, and/or strategic sales experience with financial/economic analysis preferably in consumer-focused wireless, high-tech (software, internet/new media, entertainment/content, etc.) or consumer electronics industries
Federal and Intel industry experience and/or Telecommunications industry experience a plus
Strong business acumen with a constructive and proactive approach to problem solving.
Experience in a results-driven, entrepreneurial work environment.
Travel required
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
US Citizenship (without dual citizenship)
Security Clearance: active Security Clearance
T-Mobile requires U.S. citizenship for certain roles within the organization. This role requires U.S. citizenship. Individuals hired into this role will be required to submit documentation proving U.S. citizenship within the first 7 days of hire - failure to do so will result in termination.
Colorado Pay Range: $140,600.00 - $190,200.00
Washington State Pay Range: $145,900.00 - $197,400.00
