Acquisition Program Manager
The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to support pre- and post-award Department of Defense (DoD) contracts? As a DoD Acquisition Management Professional, you’ll work closely with our DoD clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of capability to meet mission objectives, ensuring our client’s mission is our mission. We’re looking for someone like you to lead a team of experts and be a liaison to the Government client.
This is an opportunity to make a direct impact to our country’s defense acquisition system. As a DoD Acquisition Management Professional, you’ll provide pre and post award contract functions, procurement planning, and price and cost analysis reports. You’ll support leadership in strategic decision-making regarding contract administration and program management, and apply advanced consulting skills. You’ll act as a liaison between program, technical teams, PM and contractors to resolve issues and use your solution-oriented mindset to drive effective closure plans. You’ll be responsible for gathering data, comprehending project requirements, and providing foresight to program and contract needs. You’ll manage multiple projects to ensure timely completion of deliverables and ensure alignment with contract requirements, schedules, costs and milestones.

You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with DoD acquisition systems, life cycle planning, program management, and business operations
- Experience with the development of pre and post award contract administration and development, and procurement planning for competitive or non-competitive efforts
- Experience DoD acquisition management including anticipating the challenges and proactively implementing solutions to ensure seamless project execution
- Experience with providing contractual consultation regarding Government contracting, business practices, and regulations
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition policies and processes
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree

- Experience with the development and execution of DoD acquisition strategies
- Experience with U.S. Space Force systems and organizations
- Ability to contribute to cross-functional team meetings and professional environments, and works without considerable direction
- Ability to adapt and remain flexible in dynamic work environments, and display a willingness to consider new ideas and approaches
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent teaming and leadership skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
