Walmart Creative Studio (WCS) is the in-house creative agency for Walmart. Our team develops breakthrough and distinctive design systems and creative conversations that drive business objectives and keep our Fortune #1 brand in the culture. The Content Studio is WCS’s on site production capability. Position Summary
As a Digital Imaging Technician for the Content Studio at Walmart Creative Studio, you'll be the technical glue that binds our physical and post production workstreams for static and motion photography. You’re responsible for the integrity of our assets --from capture, processing, through delivery to post. You are detail oriented, and able to jump in to solve technical issues necessary to get the job done. You will be expert in both stills and motion workflow -- (eg, Capture One and C500) and able to calibrate monitors to maintain fidelity in the workflow. You will be responsible for ensuring freelance DIT roles are briefed with a one sheet on our best practices and SOPs. You value creativity and lean into a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to flex into multiple roles as needed. You are an organized self-starter who can work with the team to ensure each image captured is the best it can be.

Responsibilities:
- Daily setup and maintenance of computers and related programs to ensure a smooth digital environment for fashion and editorial shoots.
- On boarding documents for freelancers. Accountability for studio specs.
- On set technician for the Photographer or DP helping ensure all stills and motion capture systems are working and assets are being managed correctly.
- Managing, labeling, and editing all images shot from video to stills, maintaining the highest quality standards. Adhering to all naming conventions and protocols.
- Helping maintain the calibration of monitors within the studio
- Processing daily capture workflows to meet tight deadlines and creative expectations.
- Managing daily changes and problem-solving with a proactive approach to keep shoots running efficiently.
- Daily upkeep of the Motion and stills capture systems, ensuring a clean and well run workspace for optimum creativity and productivity.
- Communicating with freelance Digital Imaging Techs the Walmart specs and process to ensure a smooth shoot and delivery of both Stills and Video assets.
- Upload of all drives coming in from location shoots to our asset management system.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Creative Writing, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field and 1 year's experience in interactive design,
- editorial content management, or related field OR 3 years' experience in interactive design, editorial content management, or related field.
- Experts in Macintosh OSX operating systems and Capture One Pro for a seamless digital photography workflow.
- Experience in Video asset management and workflow
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve workflow
- Knowledge of Microsoft OS and PC operation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and familiar with Canon & Alexa products, demonstrating a strong understanding of the technical aspects of photography.
- Proficient with Adobe Premiere, enabling you to contribute to video editing when necessary; on set color adjustments or comps.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring every image meets our high standards.
- Good communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within a diverse and dynamic team.
- Patient and personable attitude, to provide a positive atmosphere and to handle the fast-paced nature of studio work.
- Ability to stay focused and multitask in a high-pressure environment, maintaining efficiency and quality.
- Punctuality, reflecting your professionalism and commitment to scheduled shoots and deadlines.
