USC Department of Surgery is recruiting an Administrative Assistant II for our Plastic Surgery Division. The Administrative Assistant II will organize and expediate flow of work for the Plastic Surgery Division, compose and produce a variety of business correspondence, reports and confidential documents, coordinate public relations functions for Division and coordinate production and distribution of promotional materials.
The Administrative Assistant II will also be responsible for business travel, call schedules for division, calendars for faculty members, CME credit maintenance, county clinic logs, coordination of reimbursements for faculty, licensing and certifications, meeting coordination, assist with physician onboarding, residency and surgical education coordination, updating and maintaining CV's for faculty, as well as a variety of other administrative duties as needed by the division.
The hourly rate range for this position is $24.62 - $28.50. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, ,internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
Education: Bachelors degree
Work Experience: Required: 3 years/Preferred 4 years
Additional Work Experience: Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum work experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Required secretarial or specialized clerical and administrative experience.
