Join our Retail Consumer Product Management Team with a strong manager coach that will support you to flourish and succeed! We have hardware and software products, distribution at top retailers like Amazon and Walmart, and millions of happy customers who use our products every day. This position will be based out of our Los Alamitos, CA office with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule. At Epson, our hybrid schedule is only 6 days per month.
Principal Accountabilities In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Product Development
Provides input to the roadmap manager into the development of product road maps for assigned product(s)
Coordinates with Japan-based product and marketing teams to monitor product development process and makes recommendations for meeting market needs to product management team
Conducts and analyzes market information and provides interpretation using proprietary research and syndicated data
Product Management
Works closely with Marketing Communications, Documentation, Service/Support, Logistics, SEC, and other groups to guide the product throughout its lifecycle
Provides input to the manager into positioning and pricing of assigned product(s)
With limited guidance, follows structured processes for a complete product launch and lifecycle management for assigned product(s)
Supports team with advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills for senior executive presentations
Collaborates with product manager and logistics organizations to optimize product forecast and product procurement
Supports research into target customer segments and helps develop product segmentation and positioning
Provides input into key advertising and promotions tactics for assigned product(s)
Supports end of product lifecycle and transition to minimize inventory and ensure launch time frames are met
Supports the company at events, including sales meetings and trade shows
Supports the sales team in customer visits and presentations under manager supervision
Conducts competitive analysis and benchmarking for assigned product(s)
Initiates and maintains relationships with industry trade groups, analysts, and publications
What You Will Bring:
2-5 years of specialist or admin experience
Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.)
The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $116,778 and $195,904. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
