Job Description Summary

Minimum Qualifications
3 years of clerical/office experience, preferably in an educational setting.

Working knowledge of Banner, Recruiter, Slate or equivalent educational software systems.

Scan, index and maintain electronic and paper fles for all documents related to adult prospects and applicants.

Actively review and examine current methods of work processes and work with supervisor to streamline existing practices. Process incoming mail and emails from prospective students and agents; answer phone calls; meet and greet walk in customers; answer questions as needed or direct them to appropriate personnel/departments; respond to inquiries regarding applications. Run various reports including audit reports for data integrity.

Perform routine data entry and/or audits in Recruiter, Banner, Slate and any other systems used by the university in order to create and maintain accurate prospective student and application files. Update records as needed to reflect current demographic data (names, addresses, emails, etc.) and curricula data (program of interest, decisions, status changes, etc.). Assist in the electronic loading of applications from third party vendors.

Monitor, process, and produce communication (letters and emails) to all prospects and applicants during the course of the admissions lifecycle. Generate routine letters for admissions decisions for approval by appropriate admission counselors/deans, as needed.
