As an Industry Executive for Labor covering the Google Public Sector, you will leverage existing relationships with C-level executives, develop new relationships, and act as a trusted business partner with an understanding of agency issues and goals. In this role, you will guide Google’s strategy in Labor and promote products to make organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$164,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Leverage your existing network of executives within Labor customers. Continue building strategic partnerships at the highest levels to solidify Google's position as a trusted technology provider.
Act as a thought leader in the Labor sector. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Engineers, and Google Partners to pinpoint and secure business opportunities, tailoring solutions based on your sector expertise.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the evolving Labor landscape, including technology priorities, strategic initiatives, and the evolving regulatory environment; guide Google's strategy accordingly.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in managing technology procurement processes or overseeing technology implementation projects within governmental agencies, public sector organizations, or regulated environments.
Experience in business development establishing relationships with senior-level decision-makers across public sector entities.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience supporting Labor entities.
Experience evaluating vendors, making key procurement decisions, and shaping internal policies or procedures that impact operations.
Understanding of Google Cloud or other cloud-based technologies.
Understanding of the Labor technology landscape.
Knowledge of current pain points, emerging technologies, and potential opportunities for innovation.
Ability to work with sales, engineering, and customer technical leads, including inventory of existing software estates, and build business cases for digital transformation.
