CACI has an outstanding opportunity for a Deputy Program Manager. This position is in support of NGA organizations and located in Springfield, VA. The Deputy Program Manager will be responsible for assisting with providing business, technical, and personnel coordination and management for individual projects in support of CACI.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and verbally, and present products and ideas in a business manner. The candidate will be required to work in a dynamic environment that requires team interaction and coordination of efforts with stakeholders. The candidate must be experienced in in personnel management and interfacing with both internal and external stakeholders.
Specifically, the Deputy Program Manager will be responsible for assisting the overall management, performance, and completion of projects, tasks, or Task Orders as part of a program in direct support of NGA organizations and key external stakeholders that may be geographically dispersed. Duties include all areas of project management, from initiation through closeout to ensure the successful execution of the project's mission, goals, and objectives IAW contract and company processes. Responsible for managing one or more activities, control account, task within a project/program. The Deputy Program Manager will be the primary interface between CACI and the employees, external key stakeholders, and corporate resources to ensure company guidance and goals are synchronized and implemented for success. The Deputy Program Manager is responsible for assisting with the execution of all program aspects to include personnel management, financial management, and growth. Daily activities include but are not limited to; managing personnel strength of the program, managing the recruiting process to ensure candidates are available to backfill pending vacancies; coordination with multiple external prime stakeholders to synchronize recruiting efforts to ensure efficient and responsive fills of vacancies, coordination of operational activities with external and internal CACI or government groups, and handling personnel issues as needed. Additionally, the Deputy Program Manager will be responsible to ensure employees receive adequate guidance and direction to perform their daily tasks in support of the customer requirements.
Required:
TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph AND meet the requirements of DCID 6/4.
B.A./B.S.
8-10 years of professional work experience that provides the required personnel management knowledge and skills in DOD, IC, or equivalent Government agency
5 or more years of professional work experience in the Intelligence field
5 or more years of experience in program/project management
Must have a minimum of 4-6 years of experience directly managing more than 30 personnel
Knowledge of standard software application programs
Strong communications skill in both written and verbal forms
Desired:
Graduate degree in business related field
10+ years of experience in program/project management
7 or more years of progressive professional work experience in multiple DOD and NGA offices
Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or DAWIA Level III in Program Management
