Responsible for the preparation of both internal and external reports including SEC and regulatory filings and investor relations material.
Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and various schedules for quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K filings.
Preparation various banking regulatory reports, including the quarterly Call and FRY Report schedules.
Prepare various schedules for internal reporting requirements including the monthly Board package and investor relations materials.
Coordinate with other members of the accounting department and other departments to obtain and review schedules for the preparation of internal and external reports.
Prepare consolidated financial statements for dissemination to management, directors, external auditors, and regulatory agencies.
Prepare and review various schedules and reports for internal users and external auditors, and assist in the audit of financial statements and related footnotes.
Assist with the 401K financial statement audit and 11-K preparation.
Review and analyze the Bank’s consolidated financial statement.
Design reporting templates through various query tools including PeopleSoft to facilitate both internal and external reporting needs.
Perform ad-hoc analyses and projects as needed.
Qualifications
At least 2 years public accounting and/or 3-4 years public company financial reporting experience
Solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and concepts
Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work well in a team
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and at least 2 years public accounting and/or 3-4 years financial reporting experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Strong verbal and written communication skill. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write: reports, business correspondence and procedural memos.
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is USD $85,000.00/Yr. - USD $112,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
