The Diversity & Chief Sustainability Office (DCSO) is building the foundational blocks to be a highly functioning center for our internal customers in enhancing performance for innovative solutions, raising the level of engagement with our employees, and externally, to be an employer of choice sought out by top talent.

Each of the three functions (Inclusion & Diversity, Environmental Sustainability, and Corporate Social Innovation) aligns to one or more of our strategic objectives. Roles & Responsibilities:
The Director, Inclusion and Diversity is responsible for designing, executing, and integrating strategic enterprise wide I&D initiatives, practices, and processes in cultivating a more inclusive environment. The individual will curate experiences for our employees that amplify our brand presence and reinforce a sense of belonging.
Oversees the development and implementation of I&D priorities, programs, and reporting processes in measuring milestones of progress for desired outcomes, in alignment with our mission and strategic objectives.
Directs and leads a team in managing our employee business resource groups, strategic planning of external I&D sponsorships, and facilitating I&D learning curriculum to better equip our employees’ skills and capabilities in being culturally responsive.
Builds trusted partnerships with the business and HR to further advance our ability to embed and integrate I&D initiatives, practices, and processes across the enterprise.
Identifies, develops, and fosters relationships with industry thought leaders, professional diversity organizations, and community partners to strengthen and expand our brand presence and talent attraction.
Responsible for managing function’s budget, as well as Affirmative Action Plan reporting metrics and analytics.
Serves as a senior leader of the Diversity & Chief Sustainability Office, providing input, guidance, mentoring, and innovation across the broader Center for Outreach, Operations, and Legal.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 10 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
Experience and understanding of multicultural marketing and messaging to specific cultural audience groups, developing messaging and marketing programs to communicate authentically and effectually
Subject-matter expertise in foundational understanding of I&D concepts and a broad range of I&D initiatives within a corporate setting
Results-oriented, proactive, inspiring leader who builds high-performing teams
Proven experience managing confidential material and systems with absolute trust and integrity
Exceptional stakeholder management skills and well-developed group facilitation experience, adept at engaging and serving as a consultant or advisor to all levels of management and leadership
Demonstrated high emotional intelligence
