Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Integrated Product Team Lead to join the Space Electronics Government Programs team in El Segundo, CA.
In this role, you will lead development of the program architecture and top-level plans for a program. You will develop program organizational, work structures, top level program and execution plans. You will identify key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners and customers. You will also facilitate the resolution of program issues, while supporting the program manager in leading program execution by coordinating program metrics.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads development of the program architecture and top level plans for a program
Develops program organizational, work structures, top level program and execution plans
Identifies key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners and customers
Facilitates the resolution of program issues
Supports the program manager in leading program execution by coordinating program metrics
Integrates the implementation of the Program Management Best Practices
Implements customer and program communication and contact plans
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
5+ years’ experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
5+ years’ experience in a production environment
5+ years’ experience in program or project management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Technical Master’s degree
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
10+ years’ experience working with high reliability electronics
Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
10+ years’ experience in an Aerospace/Engineering field
Active Top Secret/ SCI Security Clearance
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).
