As the Maintenance Reliability Engineer you will specialize in Mechanical Engineering, the incumbent performs standard engineering as well as more complex assignments usually representing a significant portion of a larger project. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and work onsite in Cleveland, OH.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering and technical support for production, maintenance, capital teams.
- Partner with production and shipping to improve Equipment Availability / Reliability for Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Manage Mechanical Integrity Program for the site.
- Support Critical equipment assessments and plans.
- Perform root cause analysis investigations and action item generation/tracking to improve reliability for the site – investigating repetitive or significant downtime causes.
- Facilitate adherence to site critical equipment inspection program.
- Develops preventative maintenance schedules.
- Performs special assigned maintenance projects.
- Develop and present data, recommendations, and improvement plans.
Qualifications:
- B.S. Mechanical Engineering and 2+ years of experience in Maintenance Reliability experience.
- Experience improving reliability results.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs in an industrial environment
- Experience with root cause analysis process.
- Possess a working knowledge of SAP to support production and maintenance.
- Possess troubleshooting and reasoning skills and the ability to analyze and interpret technical data.
- Experience in reliability programs/calculations (mean time between failures, mean time between repair, OEE, etc.)
