As the Planning Production Manager, you will be responsible for the collection and consolidation of benchmark data for all Supply Chain metrics and process improvement projects in the Supply Chain Operating System. You will recommend and implement solutions and improvements to current collection methods and ensure superior supply chain performance. This is a fully onsite position located at our Sylmar, CA. facility. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Work with manufacturing on the integration of the Planning and Scheduling department into the future state manufacturing processes involving Value Streams.
Manage and Launch of Supply Plan to Production that supports the S&OP process
Participate in and contribute towards defining a project’s scope and content.
Develop project budgets, schedules, quality standards and identify project support and documentation requirements.
Drive improvement in both the Sylmar and global supply chain performance through application of best practices (Six Sigma and Lean) and technology and monitor results to ensure improvements are maintained and benefits are sustainable over the long term.
Manage a team of Master Production Schedulers
Initial responsibilities will be centered on several projects that will be implemented at the Sylmar site then globally in the SBU
Qualifications
Salary Range $120,000-$135,000 plus annual bonus
