Ensure strict compliance with tax laws and adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to uphold the highest standards of financial integrity.
Prepare timely and precise financial statements and oversee the closing processes.
Coordinate annual audits and maintain relationships with external auditors.
Establish and maintain internal controls and financial procedures to enhance efficiency.
Provide strategic financial analysis and support to the Head of Finance US to facilitate decision-making.
Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Drive ongoing optimization of accounting processes through innovation and proactive financial management, aligning closely with evolving business requirements.
Ensure proper application of accounting and company policies in the US.

The Successful Applicant
5+ years of progressive Accounting experience
Public Accounting and/or CPA preferred
CPG experience a plus
Excellent at extracting strategic insights from data to guide business decisions
Proactive problem solving skills
Collaborative with team members and cross functional stakeholders
Able to translate complex financial information into actionable insights for non-finance colleagues
Experience in high growth environments, constantly adapting to business needs
