Pay Range: $65 to $70/hour
Position Summary:
As the Technical Supervisor for our IT Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support for the daily operations of the team. You will be responsible for interacting with vendors, managing renewals, addressing service request/incident tickets, participating in RFP (Request for Proposal) demos, and performing other day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure the efficient functioning of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vendor Management: - Collaborate with vendors to procure hardware, software, and services as needed. - Maintain vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of products and services. - Evaluate vendor performance and provide feedback to the IT Infrastructure Manager.
2. Renewals and Licensing: - Track and manage software and hardware license renewals. - Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and assist in optimizing license usage. - Coordinate with finance and procurement teams for budgeting and procurement of licenses.
3. Service Request Management: - Monitor and prioritize incoming service request tickets. - Assign tickets to appropriate team members for resolution and ensure timely closure. - Review service request metrics and identify areas for improvement.
4. RFP Demos: - Participate in RFP processes by attending vendor demos and evaluating technical solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the suitability of vendor proposals. - Document and present findings to assist in vendor selection.
5. Administrative Support: - Maintain accurate records of IT assets, warranties, and service agreements. - Assist in the preparation of IT budgets and financial reports. - Generate reports and documentation related to IT infrastructure projects and initiatives.
6. Policy Compliance: - Ensure adherence to IT policies, procedures, and best practices within the team. - Assist in developing and updating IT infrastructure-related policies and guidelines.
7. Team Collaboration: - Collaborate with IT Infrastructure team members to plan and execute projects. - Provide guidance and support to team members on administrative tasks. - Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. 8. Documentation: - Technical documentation writing experience is required - Would be responsible for updating Systems and Networking documentation and network Diagram - Update P&Ps - Update vendor lists - Update DR/BCP documentation
9. Disaster Recovery Annual Test Planning and Execution - Plan annual DR test in coordination with the BCP committee and Compliance - Coordinate with compliance on the BIA (Business Impact Analysis) process - Draft test schedules and coordinate with Core/Essential departments - Represent IT Infrastructure at Annual Table Top tests lead by the Facilities department
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Working knowledge of basic systems like Active Directory, Windows servers, and networking basics. - Preferred certified in Microsoft technologies like Azure Cloud and TEAMS - Proven 5+ years’ experience in IT administration and vendor management. - Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in using IT management tools and software. - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with IT procurement and budgeting processes is a plus. - IT certifications (e.g., ITIL) are desirable but not required.
