Job Description

DLA Piper's LA Century City office is seeking a mid-level Media & Entertainment Finance Associate. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of entertainment finance experience at a law firm. In particular, the candidate should have extensive experience representing lenders, borrowers and other parties to debt and equity financing transactions. The candidate should have strong drafting and negotiating experience in connection with senior secured lending focused on music, film and TV financings. Strong knowledge of substantive finance, entertainment and copyright law is ideal. All applicants must possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team. Applicants should have a strong academic background from nationally recognized schools and must be licensed to practice in California.
