Responsibilities
MAIN DUTIES:
Project assignments including on-site representation of client, preparation of project documentation, quality assurance, cost estimating, scheduling, plan review, research of records, document control, request for information (RFI) and submittal processing, workshop/meeting coordination, and data management. May perform a review of project records, schedules, and as-built construction to evaluate change orders and requests for extension of time. Independently apply techniques and analyze for problems and methods. Ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables with periodic fluctuations in workload.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Engage in training and professional development, participate in marketing activities, involvement with professional associations, and active participation in company initiatives. Administrative and other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Final SECRET clearance required; ability to obtain Final TOP SECRET clearance.
Located within commuting distance of Arlington, VA, or willingness to relocate.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Bluebeam, and CADD.
Ability to work within a project team to complete project assignments.
Ability to execute tasks independently.
Ability to obtain and maintain industry certifications specific to duties assigned.
Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports.
Ability to maintain records and prepare reports/correspondence related to the work.
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Ability to develop innovative, creative solutions to problems, while utilizing analytical skills.
Ability to deeply focus on the details of an assignment and then summarize findings for presentation to project team leader.
Ability to listen and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas verbally and written.
Ability to positively represent MBP within and outside of the workplace by acting with integrity in interpersonal interactions.
Ability to lift/carry 50 pounds (occasionally) and 20 pounds (frequently).
Able to stand and sit as needed on project work sites, climb ladders, work at heights, and work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions.
Able to safely navigate construction work sites with uneven terrain.
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, preferred.
FE/EIT, Certified Construction Manager (CCM), and/or Construction Manager-in-Training (CMIT) preferred.
Knowledge of engineering principles, construction management, and project controls.
Knowledge of one of the following services is preferred: critical path method scheduling, cost estimating, project budgeting, delay analysis, constructibility and design review, inspections, quantity take-offs.
Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics, and their applications.
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Possess OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification or obtain within 3 months of hire.
GUIDANCE/RESPONSIBILITY:
Reports to Area Manager in collaboration with Practice or Service Line Leaders.
SUPERVISORY:
Ability to supervise Team Members in technical/administrative roles.
