Overview
MBP is looking for a Lead Scheduler/Senior Scheduler in the US east coast area with significant experience providing schedule development and/or review services on transportation, rail, and vertical construction projects. Highly proficient in Oracle P6 and experienced with one or more of the following: Microsoft Project, Phoenix Project Manager, or similar. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Responsibilities
Main Duties:
Performs reviews of contractor-submitted baseline and periodic schedule updates for compliance with the specification and overall reasonableness.
Provides schedule development and updates services for contractors.
Develops and/or reviews time extension requests.
Assists with development and/or analysis of post-construction delay analyses.
Qualifications
Skills and Abilities:
Experience providing schedule development and/or review services on transportation, rail, and vertical construction projects.
Proficient in Oracle P6 and experienced with one or more of the following: Microsoft Project, Phoenix Project Manager, or similar.
Additional experience in one or more of the following desired: construction management, cost estimating, value engineering, risk management, constructibility review, claims analysis, and/or contract administration.
Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience.
Proficiency in reading/understanding construction plans and specifications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience working with 3D/4D models and associated software programs desired.
Experience providing training, supervision, proposal development, and business development desired.
Department of transportation and/or rail experience preferred.
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Education:
B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant experience which equates to this degree.
P.E. license and/or Certified Construction Manager, and Planning and Scheduling Professional, and/or Project Management Professional certification preferred.
