The Opportunity:
Mattel Digital Engagement Group’s Production Team is seeking a Production Coordinator to assist in the production of digital content. The position will report directly to the Mattel Digital Managing Producer and work along with the Creative Development Team to aid in the efficiency of production operations.
What Your Impact Will Be:
· Efficiently route vendor submissions among creative leads, internal brand teams, producers, legal, and product design teams via project management platform and proofing tool and direct final notes back to vendor,
· Efficiently route all review feedback to vendors,
· Maintain an effective production schedule and ensure the punctuality of deliverables,
· Keep project management platform consistently up to date,
· Set up and maintain project folders in Box including vendor facing folders, internal folders, and submission folders,
· Communicate submission process, project file structure, and file naming conventions to vendors,
· Process and collate information into appropriate storage databases for access and archival purposes,
· Coordinate vendor meetings with internal partners as needed,
· Request and distribute post specs and final delivery instructions,
· Audit and ensure final asset deliverables are delivered to Post Department for QC and archiving on a per project basis,
· Use internal search systems to request, source, maintain, and distribute up-to-date logos, brand guides, products, images, etc. and other brand assets for each production as required and ensure vendors have appropriate access,
· Facilitate the MyMarks clearance process for productions,
· Compile, cross-reference, and vet digital wrap book,
· Maintain and keep internal vendor & talent database up to date,
· Create and maintain list of credits for each production and submit to IMDb,
· Ensure final asset deliverables from external vendors are delivered to Post Department, Channel Management and Localization (as needed) for review and proper distribution & upload on a per project basis,
· Form relationships with internal cross-functional teams in order to request, source and distribute both digital and physical assets to external vendors on a per project basis
What We’re Looking For:
· 2+ years of related industry experience,
· Working knowledge of creative development, production, and post-production process,
· Strong communication skills both verbal and written,
· Well-organized,
· Independent workload prioritization skills,
· Strong bias for action and willingness to roll up sleeves and get things done,
· Always open to and communicates ideas on how to make processes more efficient,
· Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, readily adapting to continually changing priorities, nuanced feedback, and aggressive project time frames.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ability to think on your feet when new and topical subjects arise,
· Solid content development and management experience, including the ability to optimize all forms of digital collateral to achieve strategic objectives and establish a competitive edge,
· Experience with the following systems: BOX, Workfront, PowerPoint, Excel, Zoom, Microsoft Office including Teams, Adobe, Smartsheets and other media platform sites/programs like Frame.IO, Vimeo, et
The base hourly rate for this position is between $26.40 and $32.00 per hour.
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base hourly rate will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
