We are hiring a Bi-lingualSales Representative(Korean & English) to join our Ethnic Foods Business. Through CJ Foods USA's Ethnic Sales Division, we offer a vast array of authentic Asian flavors to ethnic retail stores throughout the Americas. Our popular brands include Bibigo® and Twin Marquis® products, along with a variety of imported offerings from our parent company, CJ CheilJedang. The role will be based out of our office in Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities:
Understands the supply chain of Asian market and manages and expands Asian sales channel within U.S.
Works closely with customers (retail markets and distributors) to fulfill their needs and strategically plan to reach company’s goal
Finds new regional distributors and retail markets to expand sales region
Reviews sales target on a daily basis and promote subsidiary brands of CJ FOODS into Asian market
Studies the market trend, competitors’ price, new products and launch products accordingly
Manages locally manufactured products to export and expand Global Sales
Manages inventory, promotion, account receivables, and annual plans for each clients
Develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of an organization's products and/or services.
Works with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process.
Accountable for sales of new items, category reviews, strategic volume and promotional planning, sales goals, budget adherence, and execution of sales/marketing initiatives.
Supports the development of Regional Accounts annual/quarterly business plans.
Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
Track activity, prepare and maintain records for sales leads and account status.
Arranges and coordinates meetings with clients and sales representatives.
Responsible to conduct yourself in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Years of Related Experience: 1-3 years of experience in related field. Prior sales experience is strongly preferred.
Travel: The ability to work independently and travel 75% of the time as needed.
Language:Must be bi-lingual in both Korean and English
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Intermediate proficiency in the operation of a personal computer in a Windows environment to include the Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook. Intermediate proficiency with numeric data analysis. Ability to navigate sales reporting systems. Self motivated, self directed, and result driven.
