Quality Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position
$22.00 /hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00pm to 02:30pm)
Ensure all required documentation follows the requirements of the Company’s standard operating procedures.
Document the arrival time of the vessel and receiving time of the product.
Provide information such as appearance, size, weight; temperature; roe content (squid) and any other information to Production & Sales Team needed regarding the product that is being processed.
Ensuring quality control testing satisfies regulatory requirements and delivers accurate quality information for management consideration.
Quality Technician Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years related experience in fish processing or food processing experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, comprehend, and compose instructions, correspondence, memos, policies, and procedures in English. Must possess the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Must be able to speak Spanish.
The work environment is a wet, plant environment, with machinery in operation and temperatures often exceeding a comfortable level without protective covering. There is time worked beyond business hours due to seasonal fluctuations.
