Minimum Qualifications - Candidates must have a J.D. or equivalent degree from an ABA accredited law school; and
- At least two years of practical experience. The practical experience may include work in a law office, courthouse, or other experience of comparable nature demonstrating acumen regarding the law and effective legal communication.
Preferred qualifications
- Practice and experience demonstrating legal writing and research expertise;
- A strong academic record;
- Teaching experience;
- Skill in using online teaching and learning platforms including for remote instruction;
- Potential for excellence in teaching legal writing;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- A long-term commitment to teaching legal writing; and
- Ability to contribute through teaching and service to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the academic community.
