Position Summary
Under the direction and guidance of senior biostatisticians, perform intermediate level statistical analysis at all phases of a research project, from protocol development and study design through data analysis and writing up and reporting results.
Essential Functions
Evaluate research studies, recommend statistical procedures, and prepare statistical plans with direction and guidance of senior biostatisticians including, but not limited to, hypothesis tests, regression models, meta-analysis and survival analysis to analyze the data.
Prepare comprehensive statistical reports to communicate findings with investigators. Prepare statistical components of presentations, abstracts, study protocols, and manuscripts.
Describe statistical methods and results to fellow biostatisticians/methodologists as well as to broader audiences with less statistical expertise such as research faculty and staff.
Programming functional code for data analysis using SPSS, SAS, R, SQL, or Python.
