What You’ll Do
As an Electronics Technician, you’ll be part of our team located in Lakewood, OH. You’ll get to:
- Work with PLC, HMI, drives and supporting software
- PLC and HMI programming specific to our machine
- Troubleshoot and repair plant operating systems, electronic components, PLC’s, and controls
- Analyze electrical systems and recommend improvements to insure efficiency and dependability.
- Read blueprints, schematics (including electrical), wiring diagrams, technical manuals, etc.
- Test major subsystems or components to localize problem using specialized equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on various electrical/electronic systems and components
Who You Are

- Previous PLC and HMI experience
- Mechanical aptitude and above average hand dexterity.
- Working knowledge and skills in operating a variety of small hand tools and devices used in electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ability to read, write, and understand written specifications, procedures and prints.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to operate lift truck
- Training or technical education preferred
