Requirements (Required):
- Bachelor's degree in Geography or related field or US Military Geospatial Analysis discipline;?additional experience can be used as a substitute for education.
- A minimum of three years of experience in geospatial analysis, human geography, pattern of life, regional expertise, and/or Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
- Ability to collect, research, evaluate, and compile PAI in accordance with established NGA policies and procedures, including current storage policies, safe searching protocols, and Intelligence Oversight (IO) Governance.
- Experience using commercial GIS software solutions such as ESRI products (ArcMap, ArcPro), SOCET GXP, QGIS, RemoteView, or similar electronic light table applications.
- Experience using feature layers (shapefiles), raster data (imagery/DEM), geodatabases (GDB, FDB), cartographic products, and safe data handling and storage procedures.
- Ability to work in independently, with little supervision in high-tempo environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently, both orally and in writing.
Requirements (Desired):
- Knowledge of NGA Products and Services such as Maritime and Aeronautical maps and charts, Geographic Names Database (GNDB), imagery and data repositories,
- Familiarity with geospatial data formats, including vector, raster, and textual, data repositories such as geodatabases and data warehouses, geospatial products such as maps, charts, reports, and familiarity with foreign partner data, maps, specifications, and products.
- Knowledge Geospatial and imagery manipulation programs (ESRI ArcMap/Pro, SOCET GXP, QGIS, RemoteView, etc.) and resources (GRiD, DVOF, IGW, etc.).
- Experience with data quality assurance procedures, including the use of scripting, batch protocols, and Geospatial Analysis Integrity Tool (GAIT).
- Experience using GIS software to collect, manipulate, identify, or analyze vector or raster data sets, with special focus on metadata and attribution.
- Ability to problem solve and work collaboratively in a multinational environment with foreign partners for data transfer, informational meetings, and training sessions.
- Experience with Python scripting.
- Current GEOINT Professional Certification-Foundations (GPC-F).
