Requirements (Required):
- Bachelor's degree in Imaging Science, Remote Sensing, Applied Physics, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace), or Mathematics or US Military related discipline;?additional experience can be used as a substitute for education.
- A minimum of five years of applied imagery intelligence or imagery science experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of multiple industry sensor types; strengths and weaknesses, current uses, and emerging capabilities.
- Proficiency in commercial imagery manipulation software applications and tools, such as ERDAS Imagine, ENVI, etc., along with ability to manipulate imagery using custom tool kits and algorithms developed in C++, Python, MATLAB, ISL, or similar interfaces.
- Ability to perform detailed end-to-end source management performance analysis to support multi-source requirements. (i.e. satellite collection performance, collection requirements performance, simulations of collection impacts based on weather and other sensor specific functionality).
- The ability to identify, collect, process, and analyze large volumes of data to produce and enhance products, processes, and systems.
- Creativeness to investigate and introduce novel analytical techniques, data mining and retrieval, and statistical and mathematical analyses to identify trends, solve analytical problems, optimize performance, and visualize results.
- Understanding of various satellite orbits, satellite clusters, sensor types, and industry standards for imagery capture.
- Demonstrated ability to apply mathematical analysis to raster (imagery) data such as trigonometry, regression, and linear algebra.
- Ability to work in independently, with little supervision in high-tempo environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently, both orally and in writing.
Requirements (Desired):
- Proficiency in common geospatial software applications and tools, such as Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, AWS, MongoDB, Jira, CLI, Graph DB, Ruby, NodeJS, C, C++, PostGIS.
- Familiarity with JEMA and/or Brewlytics.
- Familiarity with commercial and government off the shelf imagery solutions.
- Capability to perform mensuration and/or targeting from imagery sources.
- Experience in the Intelligence Community (IC) introducing documented imagery solutions.
- Knowledge of intelligence operations and GEOINT phenomenology
- Current GEOINT Professional Certification-Foundations (GPC-F).
