Essential Job Functions

Prepares and marinates all food items to order, following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits Works one or more cooking stations... more details that may include falafel, kabob, rotisserie, and sandwich/plate preparation areas Properly measures and assembles ingredients required for preparing the standard recipes. Cuts and/or portions food products to company standards Uses scale to ensure proper portioning of food items Minimizes waste of products Stocks/restocks items on line Maintains clean dishes and other wares Rinses and cuts raw food products. Receives and stores food supplies and equipment Communicates with Team Members and Management throughout the shift regarding the status of orders and availability of the product Understands and complies with food safety and temperature standards Maintains cook line area in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner Cleans, organizes and maintains walk-in refrigerator, reach-in refrigerator, cooler drawers, prep, and dry storage area Rotates product according to "First In, First Out" to maintain shelf-life standards. Skills & Abilities Strong interpersonal skills Ability to maintain a calm professional demeanor during any volume of business Ability to work well under pressure Capable of using knives, slicing equipment, and other food preparation equipment/tools
